Dengue

Dengue is a viral fever, which is caused after bite of infected Aedes aegypti mosquito. Aedes breeds in clean water collection in and around houses Aedes mosquito bites during the day time. Aedes mosquito favours hiding indoors. Dengue fever is a self limiting disease with recovery in 5 – 7 days. All Dengue fevers do not result in death, only patients with bleeding or haemorrhages are serious and need admission in hospitals.
